The world trade center footage begins 19 seconds after the first plane crashed into the North Tower. It was filmed at the Independence School on Greenwich Street by Jim Huibregtse.

The first ten minutes show smoke billowing out of the hole in the North Tower. Though Huibregtse stopped filming prior to the second impact, he captured the aftermath approximately 11 minutes and 22 seconds into the world trade center footage.

About 15 minutes in, the South Tower collapses, enveloping the surrounding area in dust clouds world trade center footage.

Perhaps the most disturbing clip comes at the 21 minute mark, when people begin to jump out of windows on the 95th floor.

The first piece of world trade center footage, above, comes from CBS photojournalist Mark LaGanga, who carried a full-size television camera into the heart of the crisis after the second plane strike. La Ganga ventures from Battery Park, where he witnesses the aftermath of the collapse of the South Tower, to the lobby of WTC-7, where he sees people running for their lives, police officers, firefighters, and suit-wearing office workers rushing around, and eventually back outside and down Vesey Street, where he has a direct view of the collapse of the North Tower world trade center footage.

Many of us will remember world trade center footage where they were when they heard the news - leaving work, school or college, maybe - and you will probably remember watching the news when you got home and seeing reports of the second plane hitting the World Trade Centre tower.

The most heartbreaking moment world trade center footage comes at the end of this world trade center footage video, after he makes his way through the dust cloud to the river, when police are helping evacuate tourists out of lower Manhattan onto the ferries to New Jersey, and they have to ask people to donate water bottles to help police clean the dust out of their eyes so they could go back into ground zero. That day, a light coating of dust reached as far as the Empire State Building and Jersey City, each about two miles away in different directions.

But what not many people had seen world trade center footage was the first plane hitting the building - of which there is only one piece of video world trade center footage.

The heroic efforts of the city’s fire and police departments and other emergency services helped 25,000 people escape from the site before the unthinkable occurred. The damage done at each point of impact forced the physical weight of the towers to be redistributed, and the undamaged part below the hole had to support the floors above. At the world trade center footage same time, the fires raging in both buildings weakened the steel trusses holding up each floor.
