PM Modi came in a form of generating a scheme by which the poor were linked to the banking system. Jan Dhan Account was an account that opened on Zero Balance. Because of which millions of people could join the bank. Once again, Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley has made a big announcement on this plan. That is, it has been increased from 5000 to 10 thousand.
Government has seen the success of the Prime Minister Jnanana Yojana that the Prime Minister Jnanana Yojana will always be kept open. Arun Jaitley said that on seeing the greater success of the Prime Minister Janaan Yojna, PM Modi has decided to keep this scheme open for all time. The scheme will remain open for a period of time. Not only this, some other benefits will be combined.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has tweeted himself and told the people about the new change in the scheme. Prime Minister Modi tweeted that the people of wealth account holders now have more overdraft facilities, more casualty insurance and more. Under the Jananjan section, Rs 2 lakh will be given to the insurance company, there will be no condition for Audi, 2000 and the lifespan of the audiences has been increased from 60 to 65 years.
The finance minister said that 32.41 crore accounts have been opened under the Janaana Yojana in the country, out of which, 53% of the women, 59% of the accounts have been opened in rural and urban areas. Arun Jaitley also said that 83% of these accounts are linked to account basis and a debit card has been issued with 24.4 crore accounts. This is because the overdraft facility has been increased from 5000 to 10 thousand.
